Track superintendent John Ryan threw open the Pimlico steeplechase course to horsemen Friday morning. Among the , owners schooling their horses were Thomas j; Hitchcock, A. C. Bostwick, G. H. Bostwick, T. W. Duraht, Tim Donough and J. P. Jones. John Purcell Turner accepted entries here ! Saturday morning for Mondays racing at : Pimlico. It was a big aid to horsemen and helped race secretary Frank J. Bryan of the Maryland Jockey Club get his initial fall program out on time. 1
