LATONIA TURF NOTES t w Jockey Tommy May accepted his first mount of the meeting on Royal Flash in the third race. Willie Pool returned to the saddle after an illness that confined him to his apartment for two weeks. Jockey A. Anderson, arrived from Sportsmans Park and will ride freelance for the remainder of the meeting. N. K. Beall will transfer the horses he has here to Jefferson Park after the close of the meeting. Upon his arrival at New Orleans he will take over his four yearlings which were shipped to that point from Chicago. L. Fischer took over Society Talk and Happy Chandler to train, for J. Snyder. J. P. Keezek arrived from Sportsmans Park with Santerno and Ricciardo and turned them over to J. W. Murphy to train. John Jewell is sending Jewell Bros. Friend Charley, All Forlorn and Mrs. Foster to Lexington after the close of this meeting. They will be turned out at J. L. Tarltons farm until spring. Edward Hayward shipped the eight horses he had here for the Peconic Stable to Harry Morrisseys Kempland Farm, where they will be given a rest.
