LA FERIA IN LONG GALLOP LATONIA, Ky., Nov. 3 La Feria, F. A. Wehles good distance running daughter of Ladkin, went through important and valuable preparation for the two miles and one-quarter Latonia Cup, to be run November 12, closing day of the meeting, when trainer Jack Howard sent her two miles on a stiff, heavy track this morning. She required three minutes and fifty .seconds to cover the long route and was rather briskly ridden out. Fractional time for the long trial was as follows: Quarter, :30, half, 1:00, three-quarters in 1:30, mile, 2:00, mile and a quarter, 2:28, mile and a half in 2:56, and the mile and three-quarters in 3:23.
