j FIVE CARLOADS ARRIVE j AT JEFFERSON PARK L 4 NEW ORLEANS, La.; Nov. 3 Five carloads of horses reached here early Wednesday for the season opening Thanksgiving Day at Jefferson Park. The shipment came from Sportsmans Park, Chicago. Three of -the cars were transferred to the Fair Grounds and two going to the Shrewsbury course. Those going into quarters at Jefferson Park were: A. G. Tarn, G. B. Thealls Lone Star Stable horses, S. Gorbet and H. T. Fleming. G. R. Allen, A. Yeargin, J. D. Mikel, L. M. Severson, J. Hanover and E. T. Miller found quarters -at the Fair Grounds. The W. L. Johnson stable, comprising sixteen head, reached Jefferson Park early this morning from Empire City.
