DOROTHY ALICE, away fast, bore over rather sharply going to the first turn and, saving ground on the turns, raced GAY FOLLIES into defeat and won ridden out. KEYHOLE, away poorly, went to the outside on the back stretch and, under hustling tactics, challenged the winner, but was not good enough. MORAL MISS closed a gap after being crowded back early. GAY FOLLIES showed early speed while racing with the winner. LAST HEELS, KITTY LEE and ANN CAN were in close quarters going to the first turn and could not make up any ground. ADELAIDE A., taken back early and saved off the pace, moved up when BROOKSIE tired, but was no match for the winner. BRILLIANT GIRL moved up boldly after three-quarters, then tired.
