AURORA "DAILY DOUBLE" AT AURORA AURORA, 111., May 17. — As there was no ticket sold on the "Daily Double" combination on Princess Carolyn, winner of the second race, and Shift, winner of the third, the pool was split with two pay-offs. Ticket purchasers who named Princess Carolyn with another of the beaten starters in the third race, took down 3.96 for each ticket, while those who coupled Shift with one of the horses beaten by Princess Carolyn, received .72 for each ticket.
