PIMLICO TURF NOTES | § . — - A. W. Koivula has secured stabling quarters at Hagerstown for the meeting that opens June 1 and will ship in a few days. Jockey Pat Remillard, who has been riding with good success, signed a contract to ride for the Canadian sportsman Dr. St. Charles, of Toronto. W. J. Donohue is in charge of the St. Charles horses that race under the nom de course of the Hastings Stable. Remillard departed for Toronto after the fourth race at Pimlico Tuesday Gene Bury has been notified of his appointment to serve as racing secretary at the proposed meeting to be staged at Thistle Down Park, Ohio. Dates for the meeting have not been definitely set, but it has been learned that the meeting will begin the early part of July.
