1 SPORTSMANS PARK NOTES 1 $ $ Mrs. E. Denemark has acquired the contract on jockey Charles King, who rode well around Chicago tracks last year. King had his first mount of the meeting on Truxton in the seventh race. Jockeys A. Hobart and R. Hilley were granted licenses and rode for the first time at the meeting Wednesday. The entries for Washington Park will be accepted at Sportsmans Park Saturday up to 10 a. m. for Mondays card at the Home-wood course. W. Hinphy, who is racing at Aurora, was a visitor here today, coming over to watch Ever Faithful run in the third race. Olive A. and Son O Sweep have been barred from the entries by the stewards for their bad behavior while at the post. J. Tapley, who is representing R. J. Speers of the Western Canada Racing Association, expects to forward another car of horses to Calgary Thursday for that meeting, which starts Saturday.
