Indian Runner, D. Woods black coated gelding, turned in another of his successful races, when he administered defeat to six other distance performers that were engaged for the mile and one-sixteenth of the Chesapeake Bay, an allowance affair that headed a brilliant program that was served for a large gathering the Prince Georges course of the Southern Maryland Agricultural Association on Saturday. This was the third success at the oieet-ing for the sturdy son of Dis Done Indian Maiden, and he showed excellent mud running ability to cover the distance, leading home Mrs. M. Segals veteran Don Pedro, by a length and one-quarter, with S. W. Labrots Open Hearth a driving third to hold four-length lead over the disappointing C. Vi Whitney starter, Clotho, which was followed by Night Patrol, Rehoboth and Traffic Judge. With the card one of the best supplied at the meeting, a crowd of excellent size turned out for the final Saturday of the Bowie season. Rain, which visited the course just before the running of the first race, made a change in track conditions, but this failed to dampen the ardor of the spectators and some good sport took place. Form players were well served when Piety accounted for the Rockpoint, the secondary feature, while Mack Sennett brought . his string of victories to four consecutive ones by defeating a good band of sprinters in the fourth event.
