Ellis Honey Lo cust raced to second place, and Black Mammy carried the colors of Mrs. S. Orr home in third place. Due to the changed condition of the track over night the field was reduced to five starters. After drawing away into a clear lead at this point, Fortunate Youth was never in trouble thereafter. Honey Locust closed up stoutly on the outside at the turn for home and. outlasted Black Mammy in the final test. Cambridgeshire tired in the stretch after racing close up for the first half-mile.
