FAIRMOUNT DATES UNOFFICIALLY APPROVED AURORA III May 3 Fairmount Park at Collinsville ill has been assured by the Illinois Racing Commission that the 1034 dates it requested several weeks ago frbhi Ma 26 to Jufy 4 inclusive will be granted president Robert S Eddy announced at Aurora today todayThe The commission has notyet found oppor ¬ tunity to meet to grant formal approval of the meeting but has advised Eddy to com ¬ plete arrangements for mutuel and admis ¬ sion tickets and to begin lining up the horses that will be required It is expected that the commission will approve the appli ¬ cation formally at its next meeting Oheof the tasks remaining before the commission in connection with the meeting is the ap ¬ pointment of new men to represent it in the stand and mutuels at the Collinsville meeting Chris FitzGerald the commission steward at Aurora will move on to Wash ¬ ington Park at the conclusion of the Aurora meeting and will not be available for Fair mount mountIn In the same way Oscar Bachman who is the commissions mutuel representative at Aurora will go to Washington Park ParkAn An ample supply of horses seems assured for the long term of the sport at Fairmount for many of those now racing at Aurora will go there at the close of the meetings now in progress at San Antonio and Dallas Texas will release more thoroughbreds
