ALAMO DOWNS NOTES Trainer Wayne Lewis who has fourteen j of the Wood Axton horses here will shipi I his charges to the Axton farm near Louis ¬ ville next Wednesday Trainer Lewis will then pick up about twenty head at the farm and after a brief stay will leave Kentucky with about thirty horses which will be cam paigned at the Chicago tracks this summer The Mikel family of J D and his son W A are leading in purses won the former having six and the latter three The nine winners are credited to the training of the elder Mikel John Zoeller also has saddled six winners during the present meeting
