MKELL SCORES AT COLUMBUS Ideal Weather Prevails for First Time for Beulah Park Racing Tiny Wrack Wins COLUMBUS Ohio May 17 W A Hunters McKell displayed the most speed throughout but was hard pressed at the end to score a head victory over Romac in the River Ridge Riding and Polo Club Purse best offering at Beulah Park this afternoon Hukill out ¬ lasted the tiring Mac Moon for third thirdFollowing Following the race Miss Louise Chapman presented the trophy a fivepiece silver tea service donated by the club after which the race was named E J Wood trainer of the winner accepted the trophy For the first time during the meeting ideal conditions prevailed and the racing was decidedly in ¬ teresting terestingMoring Moring left the maiden ranks when she led by a comfortable margin throughout the first race Regards also displayed the most speed at all stages of the second winning easily I J Collins Sun Mate raced past Merry Irene in decisive fashion in the stretch in the third event which marked her maiden success successComing Coming steadily from the rear Tiny Wrack outlasted the leaders Broadmoor and Little Turtle during the stretch run eventu ¬ ally scoring an easy victory in the fourth race
