RACE BILL STRIKES SNAG BOSTON Mass June 29 The Massachu ¬ setts parimutuel bill passed by the senate and returned to the house of representa ¬ tives for reconsideration struck another snag when the house refused to concur in the senate changes Chief of these is the proposal of the senate that breakage be to the nickle instead of dime the track re iceiving the breakage Representative Paul J McDonald of Chelsea argued that this breakage should accrue to the state Repre ¬ sentative John T Comerford of Brookline asked that the house concur in the senate bill The house by a rising vote of 291 to 73 refused Representative John Derham ol Cambridge then moved that a committee be named to meet with a senate committee and if possible iron out the differences Representatives Comerford McDonald and George G Lincoln were appointed They wil confer with Senators Henry Parkman Bos ¬ ton Edward Carroll South Boston and Cdr nelius Haley Rowley
