OVERTHROW, at home in the going, showed high speed from the start, but was hard urged in the stretch to hold KISSINBUG. The latter, mildly restrained early, went to the inside on the stretch turn and closed fast under punishment. LADY LOUELLA was closest to the early leader, but did not threaten. BYRD-INE was on the outside throughout. Entries for this race were reopened this morning wtih permission of trainers, and KISSINBUG was added.
