SMALL BUT GOOD SALEM HELD Seven Scheduled to Measure Strides in Dartmouth Handicap, Todays Rockingham Feature. SALEM, N. H., July 24.— Seven of the sixteen thoroughbreds nominated for the Dartmouth Handicap, ,500 added, which will feature the racing at Rockingham Wednesday, will go to the post under the weight allotments given by secretary Jim Monroe. Trainer Tom Healey is sending two Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney horses. Roustabout and High Glee, to the starting gate. Saunders will have the leg up on Roustabout, the bay son of Chicle— Traffic, a grandson of the mighty Broomstick, which will carry 100 pounds, and Robertson will be astride High Glee, the brown daughter of Pharamond II., which finished second to Teralice in the White Mountain Handicap. High Glee will pack 110 pounds, the top weight. Slapdash, the Wheatley Stables bay daughter of Stimulus— Tetrarchy, with Hughes astride, is in under the low weight allotment of ninety-seven pounds. Maurice Peters will ride A. A. Baronis Flying Sailor, toting 102 pounds, and Haines will be up on Paul Rattis Flack Hand, the son of Flying Ebony, which will shoulder 102 pounds.
