Collins, master of Elmhurst Stud, Lexington, Ky., who is racing a string of home-breds here, reports that ten foals, the first crop of Don Leon, are developing into strong, well built youngsters. Don Leon, while racing under the Collins colors, was noted for his speed over sprint distances. Narragansett stewards disallowed the claim of H. Neusteter for Miss A. Doris Top High, winner of the seventh race here Thursday. The claim application was filled cif wrong due to a typographical error on the program. Jockey Jimmy Burke, veteran rider, who piloted Springsteel in most of his important engagements, arrived* at Narragansett Friday and expects to start riding immediately. Jockey Eddie Decamillas arrived from New York. He will apply for a riding license.
