BONNIE DREAM, given a hustling ride and having speed from the start, could not hold the winner, yet held on fairly well. RALPH C. saved ground throughout, was under severe pressure in the last three-eiehths, but could not threaten the leaders. COURANT had no mishaps. NATALIE ALICE labored in the going. NAVAL CADET raced wide throughout, improved his position gradually after wearing down PROPOSING, then tame away slowly. The latter took command quickly, was raced a trifle wide for better footing and held on gamely, but was not good enough. GOOD POLITIAN, well up from the start and under strong riding in the last three-eighths, held on courageously. KISSIE, away slowly, was never a factor. LIGHT NUN quit. LOTTA AIRS, much the best and a factor from the start, raced into command when ready and had something left at the end. KAPENA, under strong riding early, closed boldly in a good effort. LOVE SICK took command, displayed speed to the stretch, but gave way to the winner and tired after five-eighths. MAD EAGLE began fast, but failed to keep up on the turn and did not threaten. PEGGY GAL was sharply taken up when MISS BLANCHE almost fell. STYLE CORNER was through early. TRUMPS, forced back when in close quarters soon after reaching the turn, went to the outside when clear, improved her position gradually after reaching the stretch and won without need of strong pressure. MOLL took command with a rush, was steadied around the turn and held on with determination. CINAR stumbled at the start, appeared to bear over when moving up fast in the early stages, swerved to the insula in the stretch and tired under hand riding in the final eighth. CHRISTINE ADEE had to be taken up when caught in the early crowding and had little chance when clear, but was strongly presevered with. ALANAD refused to respond and did not keep up in the stretch. OUR PATTY raced wide and weakened badly after reaching the stretch. ONE KNOT dropped out of it fast on the stretch turn. CALUMET DICK, rated under strong restraint for five eighths, came away fast on the stretch turn and, continuing as if much the best, retained a safe command thereafter, winning well in hand. SYNOD, away slowly, began to move up on the outside after reaching the final half mile and swerved while standing a hard drive gamely. MARV, slow to respond, closed with determination in his good effort. ANN ORULEY had speed, but quit badly after three-quarters. SURCOUF and OVERTHROW had early speed. EVERGOLD forced the pace under stout restraint, dropped back slightly when racing wide on the stretch turn, but came with determination when straightened and, wearing down SILENT SHOT, came away in tha last seventy yards. The latter, on the inside and showing fine speed, tired in the final eighth, but might have been a stronger factor had he raced in the better part of the track. FAIR PROSPECT, badly outrun for three-quarters, gave improved speed thereafter and swerved over badly in the last sixteenth. DIANE S. weakened in the stretch HOUR ZEV, inclined to bear out on both turns, failed to respond to punishment. FAIR BILLY showed a poor Overweight — Fair Prospect, 5 pounds.
