TRAINER DAMONS WIFE DIES CRETE, 111., Sept 30. Mrs. Charles W Damon, whose husband trains the horses of the Elmtree Stable, died at 8 oclock last night at the St James Hospital. Chicago Heights, following a major operation. Mrs. Damon had been ill for some time. Arrangements were completed this morning to have her body shipped to Buffalo, N. Y., for burial.
