DEATH TAKES VETERAN RICHARD L PALMER A letter from Chagrin Falls Ohio re ¬ ceived Tuesday morning brings news of the death of Richard L Palmer on March 31 Well known as Dick Palmer he was a horse breeder for many years As president of the Eastern Ohio Fair Association he introduced running horse racing into Ohio in 1919 He was the father of Mrs A R Smith whose horses have raced in Texas and the East for many years
