finished second while the Aga Khans Le Grand Due led home the American favorite Perifox Ridden by the veteran Irish jockey Mike Beary Midday Sun finished the one and a half miles in front of Sandsprite a rank outsider Le Grand Due was another one and a half leneths back William Woodwards Perifox the only Americanbred horse in the race and the lastminute favorite was fourth in the field of
