AUSTRALIAN MATE FOR BLACK TONEY HOOEY SAYS GENTRY LEXINGTON Ky June 5 The story picked up by Charley Stanhope of Australia and passed on to Charley Hatton of New York to the effect that the Aga Khan is sending the Australian mare Maytime by Paper Money to Kentucky to be bred to Black Toney sounds like a lot of hooey to Olin Gentry who is in charge of Black Toney and all other thoroughbred horses at Idle Hour Farm Black Toney now twenty six did not hold court this year and man ¬ ager Gentry says he is through In 1935 Black Toney had thirteen mares and got eleven foals In 1936 he had ten mares and got three foals His percentage having thus fallen Colonel Bradley decided to put him aside and use the younger horses In so far as I know and I think I would have been informed no booking has been made by anyone to Black Toney for this or future years said manager Gentry
