War Admiral Out for Two Months NEW YORK N Y June 7 War Admiral winner of the Triple Crown will be on the sidelines for at least two months in the opinion of the attending veteri ¬ narian Dr Crawford as a result of grabbing his right quarter at the start of Sat ¬ urdays Belmont Stakes StakesIf If its no more than two months Ill be more than satisfied trainer Conway remarked When questioned as to the seriousness of the wound the Glen Riddle trainer replied It could become serious enough to keep him away from the races the remainder of the year That is more than possible in case of infection but every precaution is being taken against such a development developmentExperts Experts who closely scrutinized the wound immediately after War Admiral pulled up Saturday ventured the opinion that he could fill late season engagements with ¬ out being hurried if the injury mends without encountering any setback setbackWar War Admiral an exceptionally rapid breaker inflicted his injury when the ground broke from under him in his first stride and he grabbed the quarter and stumbled in the second A portion of the wall of the hoof about an inch square was sheared almost completely away and was removed when he returned to his stable Only Kurtsingers alertness kept him from falling completely
