wearing down MISS BALKO inside the final eighth was ready to draw out MISS BALKO opened a big lead at the outset was steadied around the turn and held on fairly well but failed to last MERRY PEGGY never far back worked her way up between horses on the turn and finished well MAXINE B away well and on the outside whila holding a contending position failed to respond when put to pressure in the drive OFFENDER never far back and under slight restraint tired after offering a bold bid entering the stretch BLIND SAGE made up ground while racing wide SKY CLOUD had speed for a half mile moving up fast entering the stretch took coqimand approaching the final eighth and bore out badly when shaking off MANEUVER o win drawing clear The latter probably best and a strong factor from the start was forced very wide on the turn was going resolutely when carried out by MAMAS BOY early in the final eighth but tired in the closing stages BLAUFUSS slow to begin and raced wide early crossed to the inside when making up ground in the final eighth JUBILESTA rushed from the start and on the inside early went out badly on the turn and swerved when tiring in the final threesixteenths JEAN CLOUD was racing close up when forced back while racing wide between JUBILESTA and MANEUVER approaching the stretch and had little chance badlyCorrected thereafter SHERAB JR fractious at the post
