STORM TROOPERS IN DANZIG DANZIG Free City July 19 Arrival of 2000 members of the special Storm Troops corps comprised of units which formed the spearhead of German penetration in the Sudetenland today bolstered a belief the Nazis are preparing to take action to return Danzig to the Reich Danzigsrs are becom ¬ ing resigned to a German coup generally anticipated here for some time in August possibly before the parly congress at Nurem burg Reports that the Anschluss attempt is to be made next month gained momentum with the return here of Albert Foerster fuehrer of the Danzig Nazis from a confer ¬ ence with Chancellor Hitler A Polish diplo ¬ matic mission seeking to inspect the west ¬ ern frontier of Danzig was turned back by Nazi police in Danzig harbor today The vessel carrying the mission which included a colonel in the Polish army was halted in the harbor on charges its officers had failed to comply with Danzig police regulations
