AFTER NEW AUTO RECORD SALT LAKE CITY Utah July 19 A B Jenkins Utahs motor speed king announced today that he would inaugurate the 1939 auto racing season on the Bonneville Salt Flats worlds fastest automobile track some day this week Jenkins will seek to better his own twentyfourhour endurance mark of 1574 miles per hour Jenkins chief aim however is to recapture the record for twelve hours and several intermediate dis ¬ tance marks which he lost last summer to Capt G E T Eyston of London England
