PRAISE JOHN McFARLAND ARLINGTON HEIGHTS 111 July 25 As a reward for his experience and able han ¬ dling of the detectives and police at Arling ¬ ton Park John McFarland who is in charge of that department was not called upon to handle any serious trouble or accident at Arlington Park Classic Day The Classic drew a crowd upwards of 40000 persons and that there was no accident or serious com ¬ plaints was quite a tribute to the veteran McFarland who has been connected with Arlington Park since the track opened
