The saddle of SMALT slipped in the running. PICKWICK ARMS had no mishaps. TROPICS dropped back steadily. SHOTWICK had no mishaps. COURT BALL was outrun. TAKE OUT was never a factor. PARASANG was a prominent factor on the outside throughout and outlasted DOUBLRAB at the end. The latter was taken under restraint when outrun and moved up stoutly, but could not menace the leaders.
