Ihe latter was hustled into command at the start and displayed speed all the way, only to hang in the final few yards. BLUE WHISTLER, from a slow start, finished fast. JUNIOR EASTON made up ground on the outside. BOTTLE IMP was well up all the way and had no mishaps. SWEET REPOSE raced well. TIGON, on the outside, faltered at the finish. MR. ELMO was on the inside in the stretch run. EQUIPPED lacked early peod MAGDALA raced well. PRINCE ON had no mishaps. COURAGEOUS had a flash of early speed. RAJ KUMAR, from a slow start, improved his position steadily and Finished well. GLYNDON TOWN, on the inside in the stretch run, held on with good courage. BROWN GAL had speed from the start and then faltered. KINGS FEAST displayed early speed and then quit. BARNEGAT raced wide entering the stretch. BLUE NOSE made up some ground. MAECHIC raced well. GAY CHIC lacked early speed. WOODVALE QUEEN raced wide throughout. ROSY DOLLAR was never a factor. HADAPOLLY could not keep up. WADDY had no mishaps. BATTER UP quit badly and was not persevered with. ENTERPRISE jumped well and, kept forwardly throughout, responded to urging in the final eighth to outstay KNIGHTS QUEST. The latter, under restraint in the early running, moved up going to the tenth fence, but made a bad landing at the twelfth, then recovered quickly and finished gamely. ALADALE was taken back in the early running, but moved up when urged, then faltered at the end. SPEED DEMON was taken under restraint early, but moved up at the second turn of the field, then bobbled at the ninth fence, and tired. AIR MARSHAL was used up setting the early pace. The latter was sent into command at the start and, rated along steadily, held on with determination to the end. SHADOWS PASS was placed under pressure in the stretch run and finished well. MERRY MARINE was taken to the outside turning for home, then made up some ground. BRITISH WARM was outrun to the stretch turn. ISAROMA broke sluggishly but was rushed up fast, then swerved in the stretch run. KEN-TOWN suffered interference in the stretch from his stablemate and was forced to take up.
