Won driving; second and third the same. SUSIE ROOSTER saved ground in the stretch and, closing strongly in the final eighth, got up in the last few strides. SUNNY CRAIG was a keen factor throughout and held on well in the final test. GLEN VALLEY displayed the most early speed and finished courageously, although tiring. BYCHANCE worked way up on the outside and finished stoutly. SAFE BID broke well, but immediately dropped out of contention; The others tired or were outrun. The latter raced forwardly from the outset and had no excuse. MOONS GONE worked his way up on the outside and finished resolutely through the stretch. DARK WONDER came again in the run home. PHILLIS B. showed much early speed, but tired nearing the end. QUEEN ISLAM saved ground in the run home and finished going strongly. LUCKY POMPI, never far from the leaders, raced on the outside through the stretch, but finished courageously. TULOMA was going well when too late. The others tired. PRUDENT MISS saved ground in the stretch and finished strongly enough to earn a dead heat with NORMAN NADI. HOUSTONIAN closed some ground. NOAJEAN dropped out of contention after going a half mile. ONLY SON raced into the lead on the outside while rounding the far turn, drew clear entering the stretch, but hung nearing the end. MINEY closed a wide gap and came fast on the outside in the run home. EUNEVA, a keen factor to the turn for home, tired thereafter. AZAFRAN closed much ground. STROLLING BY went into the lead on the outside rounding the far turn, but tired steadily in the run home. BOLD RISK saved ground in the stretch and held on fairly well.
