Plan Lexington Yearling Sales in Month of August AugustLEXINGTON LEXINGTON Ky May 4 If present plans go through the annual yearling sales will be held at Lexing ¬ ton during the first and second week in August With the sales abandoned at Saratoga due to wartime travel restrictions the Kentucky breeders at a meeting held here Monday night decided to send invitations to thoroughbred horse breeders in Vir ¬ ginia Maryland Tennessee and other states to send consignments to the projected sales here in August AugustMonday Monday nights meeting was the second held by the Kentucky breeders since the announcement of no racing or sales at Saratoga this year and if the outside breeders accept the invitation the sales will be staged at the Keeneland race track trackIt It also was agreed by the breeders that individual consignments are not to exceed in number those listed in the Saratoga catalogues last year
