League of Service Men To Be Aided by Meadows MeadowsSAN SAN MATEO Calif May 4 General Manager William P Kyne announced today that Mayor Angelo J Rossi of San Francisco had designated the San Fran ¬ cisco League for Service Men as the trustee of funds to be raised at Bay Meadows Thursday May 6 and Friday May 7 Service for Service Men Days Les Vogel West Coast auto magnate and one of the directors of the San Francisco League for Service Men has been named as chairman of the Bay Meadows Housing Fund for Service Men Committee by Mayor Rossi RossiI I can personally assure you that my associates and the entire personnel of the California Jockey Club stated General Manager Kyne in a letter to Mayor Rossi will do our utmosj in order to secure a substantial fund which we believe will not be less than 25000 and if we should have more racing days next Fall we will make sure that our boys will be4 well taken care of for the duration
