First of CalumefFarm Horses To Head East Over WeekEnd WeekEndLOUISVILLE LOUISVILLE Ky May 4 The Calumet Farm stable embracing 31 head will de ¬ part from Churchill Downs for Belmont Park over the weekend if transportation arrangements can be made Ben Jones said here this morning Horses who have no further engagements at Churchill Downs may get away as early as Saturday with the others to follow as soon as possible thereafter It is the stables intention to start Nellie L in Saturdays running of the 5000 Kentucky Oaks one of the few Ken ¬ tucky fixtures this establishment never has wpn wpnHeading Heading the Calumet Farm shipment will be Whirlaway Ocean Wave and Sun Again among the older horses and many royally bred colts and fillies among the twoyear olds oldsOcean Ocean Wave who was withdrawn fiom the Kentucky Derby because of a foot in ¬ jury continued to show improvement today and was on the track this morning for a leisurely walk in which he showed little or KO evidence of his trouble He is not ex ¬ pected however to be ready for the Bel ¬ mont Stakes though he may be back in regular training by the time that stake is renewed
