Apache on Sidelines JAMAICA, L. I., N. Y., April 15.— Trainer James Fitzsimmons reported that Apache, owned by the Belair Stud, rapped himself in the running of the Paumonok Handicap on the opening day. The injury is not a severe one, but sufficient to keep the five-year-old son of Alcazar and Flying Song from his usual work schedule. Mr. Fitz is hopeful that the brown coated fellow will be back in training in another week.
