Alorter and Skytracer Work Over Muddy Churchill Strip LOUISVILLE, Ky., April 15.— Neither mud nor Pukka Gin, nor gloom of dawn could stay Alorter and Skytracer in their Derby training schedule at Churchill Downs this morning. Alorter sluiced through a handy mile in :53s, 1:20? 5 and 1:47. M. B. Goffs Flamingo runner-up shaded the Ernst colts time a trifle, moving along in :52%, 1:18% and 1:4625. He was accompanied by Puckety the final three furlongs. These were the only preps of any consequence by the Derby candidates. Indications now are that Skytracer and Alorter will make their local debuts in the mile Stony Point Purse next Thursday. Bell Buzzer, a Derby candidate in the D. Ferguson entourage, turned a handy five furlongs in 1:05.
