Dade Park to Offer Minimum Purses of 00 for Meeting OWENSBORO, Ky., June 21.— James C. ! Ellis, president and general manager of the I Dade Park Jockey Club, has announced that purses for the twenty-second annual j race meeting of the western Kentucky racing establishment will be boosted 00 this ! summer, making the minimum purse 00. i Plans are under way for the summer meeting which will open Thursday, August 2, for a 28-day season. The meeting will j close with the Labor Day program Mon-day, September 3. The first three days of j the meeting will be for war relief. Seven races will make up the daily cards, with eight being scheduled for Saturdays and Labor Day.
