MEMPHIS DAVE made the pace to the final eighth. then tired. TRACELETTE could not get to the leaders when hard ridden through the stretch. MACS QUEST never was dangerous. NEB lacked early speed and bore out on the final turn. TINY SIS was done after the opening quarter. LIGHTFOOT LEE could not keep up. MAEWAVE was outrun. BRASS MAN assumed command after three furlongs, held a short lead when settled for the drive but tired slightly nearing the finish. PAYLCEE finished strongly in a effort. FLIGHT GAL lacked early speed but could not get to the leaders when roused for the drive. BLACK SAN never was dangerous. DUSKILLY began fast but could not keep up. VALDINA STYLE, much used racing LOMAN DAY into defeat, failed to stay when roused for the stretch run. SNOW MAID lacked early speed, but finished fast. AGATE never was dangerous. CACTUS FOOT reached the lead near the stretch, but failed to retain his adva- age under brisk handling. TOWAKEE had no mishap. SCOTCH TRAP fave way after racing prominently to the stretch, AIRCRAFT was outrun. RISE ABOVE IT, bothered going into the first turn, failed to recover and lost ground steadilv thereafter.
