BOBS PICK offered the chief contention from the start but did not seriously endanger the winner, yet held •n well. KINGS RIVER went forwardly placed from the start and, holding on gamely, outstayed OH BOY. the latter finished resolutely in a good effort. MAGNA RAY went well. WARF began slowly. FLY-IOLATE, also sluggish the early part, was unable to get through in the last eighth. .IEZROS raced wide, kut lacked speed throughout. DANDY SANDY began poorly. GOOSEBERRY started up when approaching the final quarter, continued with good SDeed and determination when placed to a drive and, bearing down HERE GOES drew away. The latter, under a strong hold to the last three-sixteenths, did not respond to pressure, yet held on well. LIBERTY CRACK, never a great distance back, hung on courageously. GREENOCK IMAGE tired under pressure. LIBERATOR was held safe. VERO LUMEN dropped back when racing wide on the turn and was far out of contention the last five-sixteenths. IN THE BAG, well up from the start, was in close quarters on the inside for a brief time in the drive and. holding on courageously, outstayed JESTING FOX. The latter held on •tubbornly. The latter, a sharp factor from the start, field on with good courage. BREEZY LOUISE, away very slowly and forced to race wide, could not get to the leaders and tired in the late stages. OLD KENTUCK, under a strong hold to the stretch turn, raced into a wide lead with a rush and was shaken up in the final eighth, but had something left. SENTIMENT SAKE, on the inside early, was taken out after reaching the final half and closed resolutely under good urging. BOLOS CHOICE, well rated and saving ground throughout, was under vigorous riding before reaching the final quarter and could not hold off the leaders.
