Kyne, general manager of Bay Meadows and a prominent principal in the proposed ,000,000 race track at Puente, Los Angeles County, stated here today to a representative of Daily Racing Form that "racing is too big for its own good, and Puente s offer to donate 50 per cent of its profits to the rehibilitation of returning veterans constitutes a saving measure in California." Kyne added: "I would like to see southern California tracks allocate more days for the benefit of hospitals and returning veterans, just as Bay Meadows is doing. Our track will devote 23 of its 47-day fall meeting to War Relief."
