ALDRIDGE forced the pace of the winner, was placed to stiff punishment in the drive and just failed to get up. REX-AVIS, forwardly placed throughout, held on resolutely. GRAY CALL finished well after lacking speed to match the early pace. CHANCE ACE broke well, but could not keep up. CASH 0. BOY, far back early, was in close quarters in the stretch. CALCUTTA was sent to the front at once, was rated there while saving ground, but could not withstand the winner. LIMEHOUSE was prominently placed from the beginning, went slightly wide into the stretch and finished fast. BONRIDGE lacked early speed, but closed gamely. ROBERT E. LEE, a stout factor from the beginning, saved ground, but hung under pressure. BOOT AND SPUR could not engage the leaders. REMOLEE had good early speed, but flattened out in the drive. MR.
