Plumhoff in Plane Crash CrashARLINGTON ARLINGTON PARK Arlington Heights HI June 14 Leo Plumhoff a member of the maintenance staff here narrowly es ¬ caped serious injury yesterday when he made a forced landing at a nearby farm in a plane he was piloting A former para ¬ trooper Plumhoff is now a student pilot on the GI plan When his craft went dead at 2000 feet he was unable to make it to a flying field and crashed Although the plane was badly damaged Plumhoff suf ¬ fered only a severe shaking up He was back on the job today
