Parke; bred by Fred B. Koontz. WENT TO POST— 6:10. OF AT 6:101 EASTERN STANDARD TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. PAPPYS PRIDE worked his way forward to the stretch, swerved to the inside when taking command, held on well under punishment and withstood NIGHT TOUR. The latter moved up boldly nearing the stretch, was bothered by the winner during the drive, closed fast when clear, but could not overtake the winner. SANTA CLAUS raced keenly throughout, was unable to reach the leaders under hard urging through the stretch, but closed gamely. BELLBROOK engaged MISS OBEHAN to the stretch, then tired. MISS OBEHAN went to the front early, made the pace to the stretch, then lost all chance when caught in a jam during the drive. BEACH MOSS was never a threat. THE BAGEL tired. WAYNE L. had brief speed and broke down badly entering the stretch. Attendance, 17,127; Total Mutuel Pool, 42,300.
