VERMONT SON— Lacked early speed last time postward, but closed full of run. RINKS PET— Probably needed her last race and is reported ready for a top performance. SNAKE RIVER — Was in close quarters leaving the gate in his latest essay and, should he get away quickly, will be hard to catch. SUPEREX— Benefited greatly from her last race and will be a tough one to beat next time postward. MY WILLOW— Needs but to show the speed she possessed in her last performance to grace the winners circle. BATCHFLY— Is training smartly and, with a little racing luck, is due to earn brackets. ISLAM PRINCE— Showed a gallant effort when he faced the starter here last week and looks like an early victor. FIRM PEACE— Raced exceptionally well in last, being defeated a scant nose in a photo finish. Has only to run back to that effort to be victorious. NORACHITA— Closed with a rush in her latest encounter to be barely beaten. This daughter of Ramillies should click next time out. LUNCH QUEST— Showed a world of speed in her last race. May forget to stop in next contest. SILVER CASE— Is rounding to peak form and will bear watching. MARBLEHEAD— Lost a tough one last out after looking like a winner. Should defeat a field of the same caliber in the near future. BEST FREEDOM— Recent efforts suggest this filly is getting ready for a victory soon. SLO MOE-2-Overdue for a winning effort. Closed strongly in latest effort and may score at a longer distance. ZIGGY LANE— Is real sharp right now and can be expected to click the first time he races, if matched with the same class field.
