Dimit Outruns Hallieboy In Worcester Handicap LINCOLN DOWNS, Lincoln, R. I., April 29.— The Playmouth Stables Dimit was victorious in the Worchester Handicap, feature event on this afternoons agenda, scoring by a scant nose over W. Fugates Hallieboy, who was second by four lengths. On the Isle, who carried the silks of Dave Zakoor, was a like distance to the good of E. Solimenas Jacopet. Golden Shoe Farms Rogue, Mrs. J. Kelleys Mr. Fox and the B. G. P. Stables Hippodrome completed the field finishing in the order named. The winner negotiated the eight furlongs in 1:41% over a racing strip termed sloppy. A crowd of 10,500 fans were on hand. Dimit was first to leave the starting box, with Hippodrome and_Mr. Fox in close pursuit. Then came On the Aisle, Rogue, Jacopet and Hallieboy. Jockey D. Jones kept Dimit under intermittent pressure all the way, then took his mount to the rail, saving ground in the run to the home lane, while jockey George Adkins, who was astride Hallieboy, under restraint early, sent his charge up to engage the ultimate winner in a battle to the wire, with the Plymouth colorbearer getting the photo decision.
