Illinois Notes SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., April 29. Owner and trainer Mario Quintero arrived from Gulfstream Park with his modest three-horse unit. Included in the shipment were Betroum, Can Step and Ida A. Keith Carter, representative in charge of the midwestem division of the TRPB, visited the local track and conferred with horsemen and officials. Carter and several members of his staff will journey to Louisville, Ky., and will be in attendance for the 1950 Kentucky Derby. Trainer K. J. Heisey, acting for Mrs. Frank Horwitz, purchased Eternal Ego from John Noble. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Three horses, owned and trained by L. Rodriguez, arrived on the local scene following the lengthy journey from Gulf-stream Park, Miss Yam, Inscroll and Rouser comprise the Rodriguez unit.
