Narcotic Violator Caught In Fjpllywood Stable Area AreaRacing Racing Board and TRPB Agents Trace Application for License LicenseHOLLYWOOD HOLLYWOOD PARK Inglewood Calif May H Agents of the California Horse Racing Board and the Thoroughbred Rac ing Protective Bureau yesterday teamed up to apprehend an alleged narcotics violator in the Bollywood lark stable area areaGilbert Gilbert Leho Kiihoa 44 alias Gilbert McQueen 718 S Canyon Monrovia Calif was turned over to the sheriffs office and I placed under arrest by deputy Jack Gray 1 don charged with illegal possession of hy ¬ podermic equipment Kiihoas troubles started with his appli i cation for a license to work in the stable j area as a hot walker When chief in spector Jack Ford of the racing board made j a routine check with the California Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identifica j tion it was learned that Kiihoa had a i record of numerous arrests for possession of narcotics the last of which resulted in a 90day Los Angeles County jail sentence The board of stewards immediately sus ¬ pended Kiihoa for falsifying his applica ¬ tion on which he had stated that he had j never been arrested v j When TTRPB investigators took up the case they made a search of Kiihoas tack room under a rule of the racing board which gives track security officers the right to examine personal effects of racing board licensees Hidden beneath a loose board they reported that they found a hypoder mic kit and a notification to the sheriffs I office resulted in Kiihoas arrest
