PHIL CHINN IS FINED 0. New York, July 30. P. T. Chinn was fined 0 by the stewards at Brighton Beach today for not schooling Pretension at the barrier in the interval since his last appearance, as he had been ordered to by the starter. Pretension, though still on. the schooling list, could not be denied the privilege ot starting in the Nautilus Selling Stakes. While at the post he was on his very worst behavior, delayed the start, and materially reduced tlie winning chances of some of Ills opponents.
