IRELAND RACING SEASONS PRODUCT. The Irish season, which terminated the first week of November at Leopardstown, was, on the whole, successful, although spoilt to some extent by the rain; but that the sport is in a healthy state was amply demonstrated in the way of statistics. Mr. E. P. Gall heads the. list of winning owners with 5,005, of which 0,705 was won by his smart filly, Americus Girl, which lias the distinction of having secured more money than has ever previously fallen in one season to any one animal in Ireland. Mr. R. Croker comes second with twenty-two races worth S,S30, but adding his English successes including Orbys Derby, he lias had a good year. Next to him is Mr. J. J. Parkinson, who won thirty-five races, value 3,525, and then follow Mr. AV. Dunne with 0,255 and Mr. James Daly, 1907.sh,335, while Mr. U. Whitworth, Sir Ernest Cochrane, Mr. John Widger and Mr. C .1. Blake have also reached four figures. Among tlie winning stallions Americus comes out on top with 4,750, Americus Girl being his sheet anchor. The defunct Lesterlln a former companion at Glencairn of Americus is second with 2,030, and Grey Leg, t Desmond, St. Gris, Peterhof dead, Bushey Park aiid General Symons have also done well. As to the trainers, as was the case last year, it lias been a great struggle for first place between Michael Dawson and Mr. Parkinson, and the former just beats the Master of Maddenstown Lodge with thirty-two winners of sixty-one races, worth 0,-105, as against Mr. Parkinsons thirty-three winners of fifty-nine races, worth 4,3S0. Mr. Maxwell Arnotthas had a splendid season, and in the matter of number of races won is easily first with seven ty-eiglit, worth 3,105. Of the jockeys, J. Thompson, for the seventli year in succession, holds pride of place with fifty-three winners, C. Aylin and G. Brown tieing for second position witli thirty-one each, or one more than F. Hunter. Mr. R. II. Walker, who rode fifty-three winners, and Mr. J. Mauley, thirty-two, stand out by themselves amongst the amateurs.
