ยป CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF The Ontario Jockey Club last year distributed 42,000 in purses at the two meetings. This spring they are giving 19,000 in added money, or ?o,000 more than last spring. The well-known New Zealand owner, T. H. Lowry, accompanied by Mrs. Lovry. is on his way to England. Mr. Lowry will race a few horses there, and is returning to New Zealand about a year hence. j i !
