H0LECK0 BADLY INJURED WINNIPEG, Man., June 22. Steve Holecko is lying in the General Hospital at Winnipeg with a slight fracture of the skull and minor injuries. The boy was riding Kremlin in the third race at Polo Park Tuesday afternoon when the horse either crossed his legs or stumbled, throwing Holecko heavily. It would appear as if the lads head struck the rails, but as he still is unconscious it is difficult to predict exactly what did happen. The patrol judge states that the horse was entirely clear of any other contestant at the time and just starting to make the turn out of the back stretch.
